Public consultation on the draft Tribunal rules of procedure

The Council invites written submissions from institutions, practitioners, and members of the public on the draft rules of procedure for the Legal Education Appeals Tribunal, drafted under section 83 of the Legal Education Act, 2026 (Act 1170).

The rules govern how the Tribunal hears appeals by institutions against decisions of the Council on accreditation licences. Once approved by a panel of the Tribunal, they will be published in the Gazette and in the governance and transparency section of this website.

Submissions should be made in writing to the Council.
