The rules of procedure will be published in the Gazette and on this website.

The Board of the Council for Legal Education and Training will, within ninety days of its constitution, draft and publish the rules of procedure for the Legal Education Appeals Tribunal. The requirement is set out in section 83 of the Legal Education Act, 2026 (Act 1170).

The rules must be approved by a panel of the Tribunal and published in the Gazette and on this website. They will govern how the Tribunal hears appeals by institutions against decisions of the Council on accreditation licences.

Stakeholders are invited to submit written comments during the consultation period. The rules will be published in the governance and transparency section of this website once approved.
