The Ghana School of Law is now a directorate of the Council.

Under the Legal Education Act, 2026 (Act 1170), the Ghana School of Law is established as a directorate of the Council for Legal Education and Training. The provision is section 77.

The School continues to administer the Post-Call Law Course, to offer courses preparing candidates for the National Bar Examination and for re-sits, and to design and deliver specialised programmes aligned with contemporary legal practice.

Its work is carried out through four units: Regular Programmes, Post-Call Programmes, Special Programmes, and Student Support Services.
